Meet the team

Fiona, originally a Division 1 tennis player, began cycling in late 2019 to stay fit during University studying medicine, eventually joining Red Truck Racing in 2021.
Introduced to a High-Performance Training group through a Cycling Canada program, she quickly excelled, climbing from novice to National Team Level.
Fiona’s talent was recognized at a National Team Camp in March 2022, leading to her selection for the Milton Nations Cup.
Since then, she has achieved success at multiple Nations Cups and World Championships and attended the 2024 Olympics as the alternate.
Having experienced first-hand the journey from beginner cyclist to National Team level within a very short period of time, Fiona wishes to provide a platform for success with Instinct Cycling Team.
She wishes to fill the gaps in Women’s cycling programming and mentorship that were present when she started cycling. Fiona’s mission is to mesh the community, development and elite athletes into a powerhouse of a team.
In addition to committing to the next four years towards LA 2028, Fiona is going to finish the remaining two years of Medical School at UBC, where she will enjoy balancing the two.
