At Instinct Racing, we are dedicated to creating a community to support athletes and women in cycling from grassroots to the elite level.
Instinct Racing athletes use their intuition as a tool to stay motivated through training and competition. Our athletes lift each other up and stay tough through the highs and lows of athletic pursuits.

Fiona Majendie
Elite Track Team, Founder of Instinct
Fiona, a former Division 1 tennis player, took up cycling in late 2019 while studying medicine and joined Red Truck Racing in 2021. Her rapid rise through Cycling Canada’s High-Performance Training led to her debut with the National Team in 2022, competing in Nations Cups, World Championships, and as an alternate at the 2024 Olympics. Now focused on bridging gaps in women’s cycling, Fiona aims to build a powerhouse team with Instinct Cycling, blending community, development, and elite performance. Alongside this mission, she’s balancing medical school at UBC with her goal of competing at LA 2028.
Ariane Bonhomme
Elite Track Team
Ariane has been racing for most of her life. She competed in her first bike race when she was in grade 6 and has been in love with the sport ever since. A few years after doing her first road race, Ariane was introduced to track cycling, and this is where the Olympic dream truly came alive. Ariane has now competed at the Tokyo and Paris Olympics in Team Pursuit. On the road, some of her best results include a 3rd place at the Elite National Championships and 4th Place in Gatineau Grand Prix. Ariane is also a trained Birth Doula and an aspiring RMT.
Erin Atwell
Elite Track Team
Erin began cycling in 2014 under Lister Farrar’s guidance in the Tripleshot Youth Program, embracing various disciplines. Progressing to Trek Red Truck Racing by 2017, she later joined The Cyclery Racing to focus on her track career and joined the Canadian Women’s Development team. Over the past many months, she has competed in numerous competitions, contributing to her team’s success 8th place at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games
Devaney Collier
Elite Track Team
Devaney, has experience of over a decade in cycling and six years on the national team, where she has achieved many world cup and continental championship medals, including representing Canada at the 2021 Commonwealth Games. Devaney aims to make the sport more inclusive and improve the sport’s national organization. She looks forward to being a mentor in our program.
